They say time is supposed to heal you, but I haven’t done much healing. How do you heal, when every part of you reminds you that you are broken? You tear away everything that reminds you that you were attacked, you delete every piece of item that reminds you made yourself vulnerable. Does it heal you? No. Why?
Because accepting that you have been broken is accepting that you have been defeated. That you are weak to fight the battles of life. That you are so naive to make yourself vulnerable to a random stranger. You are not broken. You don’t need to heal. You don’t need to wonder whether you are strong enough to deal with life. Because, guess what? You are alive, and you made it this far. A broken car cannot be used for transport. Similarly a broken person cannot survive in this world. You have messed it up, and you are afraid to mess it up again, be a failure again. Learn to embrace every messy chapter in your life and let it push you to success. Time doesn’t stop for you, and time has better things to do than heal you. It is only you who can do that.

But I ain’t done much healing”
